Mango Salsa

This is my first recipe post and I’m drawing from personal experience as a recipe blog reader. I always scroll right to the recipe and skip everything else. I reference the photos after reading through the recipe if I need them, but that's about it. I’ve seen memes and tweets about other people doing the same thing. I know the point of putting the recipe at the bottom is to try to force people to read the whole blog first, but my goal is to give you the content you want quickly. So I’m going to try something ~different~ here. Let's get right to the recipe!

This is mango salsa. A refreshing and versatile mix of mango, avocado, tomato, and a few other ingredients. Eat it with chips, top your tacos, or smother your grilled fish!


2 mangoes

1 avocado

1 large tomato

½ jalapeno, seeded

¼ cup cilantro

1 lime, juiced

Salt to taste


1. Dice the mangoes, avocado, and tomato into ¼ inch cubes. Chop the jalapeno and cilantro finely.

2. Mix all of the ingredients together with the lime juice. Add salt to taste.

3. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before enjoying.

4. Stores in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
